Trust that your partner will be honest with you just as you are honest with them. Also respect your partner by understanding that a new environment means new people and a new life. Just because they are living a life without you there doesn't mean they care for you any less or don't think about you. Always remember that your partner is in the same situation as you and so when you want to be respected and trusted, you have to understand that you will have to return that same respect and trust.

Long distance relationships don't have to be impossible. They might be hard at first, but remember that it's all for a greater goal. A short time apart will eventually lead to a longer time together.
